KUCHING: Sarawak students sitting for the 2020 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) are glad that they finally got to sit for the examination this year.

They said they just wanted to get the examination over and done with as they seek to move on with their future.

“There is no doubt that I want to finish my SPM as soon as possible while I try hard to achieve the best results that I can,” said SMK Batu Lintang SPM candidate Jeremy Adison.

Jeremy nevertheless was grateful that the postponement somewhat gave him ample time to prepare for the exam.

As for Jennifer Sharon Edwin, another SPM candidate from SMK Batu Lintang, though feeling anxious while waiting to sit for the exam, she is nevertheless glad that it will be over soon.

“We can be proud of ourselves that we managed to get through this hardship alive and healthy despite all the obstacles. Regardless of the results, I think we should be thankful that we finally get to sit for the SPM,” said Jennifer.

While most students are feeling anxious about preparing for the examination, some also said that had they not received encouragement from their teachers, they would lose motivation to sit for the exam altogether.
